Turning my camera downward at home became a practice reminding me how effortless and pleasurable photographic seeing is and how a little of ourselves is always in view. Any oddness is probably more that we are unaccustomed to seeing ourselves as part of the picture, planted here briefly alongside the soaker hoses and Gambel Oak.
